Former flat racing jockey Pat Eddery has died aged 63, it has been confirmed.
The 11-time champion jockey claimed 4600 race wins in his career before retiring in 2003. Eddery also won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphes on four occasions.

Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to Prince Khalid Abdullah, in whose silks Eddery had some of his greatest days, said: "It is extremely sad news. Everyone at Juddmonte is very shocked and saddened by it."
