Some intriguing games this week, no more so than the meeting of 2nd placed Heatsleepers and 3rd placed Willyswonkers.
Keira FC will be hoping for an early start on the Poolside Loungers, two improving sides.
Wear and Mersey go head to head when the leaders take on Swinnypool!
Both Terrapin and Bank of England got off to a good start this season but have faded badly, one of them will be hoping for a revival this weekend.

Re: Week 8

Post  Mackemneil on 2015-10-06, 2:26 pm

If you look at the top point scorers in defence, midfield and attack there are notable characters missing that many of us would have selected at the beginning of the season and in their place some that I had not even heard of. That and the incredible performance from Aguero after a relatively slow start has created another set of strange results this week.

The meeting of 2nd placed Heatsleepers and 3rd placed Willyswonkers resulted in one of the highest scoring games I have ever seen with the new league leaders, Heatsleepers coming out 106-51 winners.
Keira FC lost to the Poolside Loungers who leapt to 4th spot.
The Wear - Mersey head to head saw the leaders get thumped 59-14 by the improving Swinnypool!
Real got the better of Felis Negra in a high scoring 75-69 game and SouthAfricaReds got their second win on the trot beating hadawayman 58-30

The Advoblackcats played their 'wildcard' this week in an attempt to overcome injuries and suspensions and beat Syd's boys. The result was a comprehensive defeat 50-30 and 5 injuries and two went AWOL  Sad
