Congratulations Chelsea

So Chelsea did what they have done all season and got the result they needed to confirm what we have all known since Christmas; they are the best team in the English Premier League. Congratulations to them for their well deserved Premiership Trophy.

I have a few observations on what I saw and heard today:

  • I don't like John Terry but you cannot dispute his love for Chelsea and sheer desire to win. A true captain in all senses of the word.
  • Also, his taking the time to pass on the condolences of himself and everyone at Chelsea to Rio Ferdinand was a nice touch.
  • Eden Hazard has been the best player in the EPL this season but his penalty today was one of the worst i have seen. He admitted himself he got lucky with the headed rebound!
  • Jose Mourinho, a manager who BBC tells us has won a trophy every 34 GAMES of his managerial career, could allow himself to be happy for once when being interviewed. His miserable face and voice is against the spirit of being a winner.
  • Note to Sky Sports: Eidur Gudjohnson should be signed uo as a pundit as soon as he retires. He is articulate, made some excellent points and his voice is a hundred times less annoying than either Jamie Carragher's or Thierry Henry's.
  • Another note to Sky Sports: Martin Tyler needs to be pensioned off. His prattling during the game has got beyond irritating now.

Well done Chelsea, thankfully they didn't leave it until the last game, that opens the smallest glimmer of hope...a point?

Yes well done and well done Mourinho, a manger may hate but most would love. I like him BTW

My avice to all players is take a few games to warm down then book a flight to leave straight after last game to join your families on the beach. Bring flip flops to game and be very careful, you dont want an injury for your holidays.

My glass is always half full and occasionally over flowing.
